David Shivers Ministries respects your privacy. This website is a simple place to watch sermons, listen to the podcast, and get in touch. We collect as little information as possible, we never sell it, and we do not track you around the internet.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and your message. If you subscribe to sermon updates, we store your email address so we can send them to you. That is all — you can read, watch, and listen here without giving us anything.
Donations
Donations are handled entirely by PayPal. Your card details go to PayPal and never reach this website — we do not see them, receive them, or store them. PayPal does tell us your name and email address so we can thank you and send a receipt.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, to consider your question for a future sermon, or to send the sermon updates you asked for. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Website statistics
We count visits so we know which sermons people are finding useful. This records things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device was used. It is not linked to your name, and we do not use it to identify you or follow you to other websites. The service we use for this, Vercel Web Analytics, sets no cookies — which is why this site does not ask you to accept any.
Third-party services
A few trusted services help run this site: email is delivered through Resend, donations are handled by PayPal, sermon videos are embedded from YouTube, and the site is hosted on Vercel, which also provides the visit counts described above. When you use those features, your information is handled under each provider's own privacy policy. Because sermons are embedded from YouTube, playing one lets YouTube set its own cookies.
Email updates
If you subscribe to sermon updates, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we will remove your address promptly. We will not pass your address to anyone else.
Removing your information
Ask us and we will delete what we hold about you — your message, your email address, or both. Write to us using the details below and tell us what you would like removed. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
