Meet David Shivers
Born and raised in Atlanta, called to preach as a student at Mississippi State University, David Shivers has had the great pleasure of pastoring churches in Mississippi, Indiana, and Georgia.
Back home in Atlanta, David and his wife Jeanne are blessed with 2 great children who chose 2 great spouses. The family has grown to include 6 perfectly grand grandchildren!
As the third generation in his family to answer God's call to preach, David has a unique ability to share the Good News of Jesus in a clear and concise way.
Each week, David publishes a short sermon — typically around 5 to 7 minutes — designed to bring a positive charge to a negative world. No pretense, no performance. Just Scripture, stories, and the simple truth of the Gospel.
